My life:

Wind! Here in the UK, the storms have swept across the countryside. We have escaped the worst of it, with just a few branches down. But several people have been killed, and it makes you grateful you don't live in somewhere like Oklahoma where storms really change lives. England lost over a thousand trees in the last year, but it makes me wonder who the country belongs to? Us or the trees? They were here long before us, and all we have ever done is cut them down.
