The Pope: Changes?

If the Pope dies, will there be big changes in the world? I doubt it. For one thing, I'm always asured by the word of Auther C Clarke. In the Rama books, he always said that if the world went through any big changes, one thing would be certain. That people would always turn to the conventional. Royalty and the Catholic church. These are constants that (although you might not agree with them) they are always there. They go on and on, and they never changes. Sure, the world might nock them about,...
