Population
I saw a thing on Channel 4 news last night, about population explosion. They gave the usual hysterical nonsence about the great masses about to overrun us, but one thing struck me. You never hear the Sci-Fi solutions to population growth now. Back in the 70's you had plenty of ideas about new cities in the desert and domed cities in the artic, and all the rest. No more.
