Upgrading subscriptions...

If I upgrade my subscription (I just subscribed yesterday) will I be charged twice?  Or will I just be billed for the difference?  Thanks.

Why are emails that have been sent to other users sent to my own email?

Hi, I've tried to make contact with some of my readers. It seems that I am only emailing myself each time I try to email them. Does any of you guys know why this is so?

Cheers,

Java Jo

Any tips for attracting more comments from Readers.

Hi, Pretty new to Blog it. I have two blogs, one in Spirituality calling for an alternative divine reality and another on Opinions Via Fables. I am glad some people have read my stuff, but am clueless as to how to get more comments from them! Sorry, call me a glutton for positive feedback. Enjoyed all that I've got so far! Do I need to be an avid reader to get more response? For I find that is the only thing I am not doing. I am afraid to read just in case I get too influenced by other writers and lose originality with my own, or face people with far better skill in writing than myself. Sorry all! A bit of an egotistical isolationist! Hope I'm not alone in that, though.

Cheers,

Java Jo

p/s: Perhaps because I'm not alone in that, might be the reason for little response. Lol

Selling Articles

I filled out the form to sell items, but every time I press 'submit' (or whatever it says) I get a page that says 'This page is not working, try later'. And now I can't even find the page to submit an article!

What do I have to do to submit an item for sale?

Old subscriber befuddled by new formatter

The new text formatter defaults to a double-space when the "enter" key is clicked. How can I default to single-spacing?

Ekphrasis: writing/poetry about works of art - an ancient tradition

Blogit Staffers:

This is a request to you: Any chance that you could add a new category of writing, namely "Ekphrasis" which is writing/poetry specifically about works of art? - this is an ancient tradition, and many still practice it, as I do too.

It would be good to gather the efforts of such writers in one place--I might even then be motivated to maintain my subscription, which otherwise, currently, I am inclined to drop.

Thank you!

Courtjester.

For a while I was getting calling cards and now I'm told people can't leave

any in my blogs...I don't even know how to disable that feature and wondered why it has been disabled and how I can change it back?

How do I access my Library of acquired listings?

I'm sure I once saw this information, but can't find it anywhere about!

It would be handy to have a button on the 'write' page to go right to it.

Where'd my audience go?

I have been blogging about all sorts of different things.  Weird little observations about the world in which I live.  I think I may have turned some folks off by writing about the same incident several times (different angles of it though).

I just want my readers back! Let my readers go!

PS Today's post is about a drag queen, a robbery, and a Burger King.

Commenting

I want to know why I am being told to use at least fifteen letters in my comments...what did I do wrong? Many of my comments are far less than fifteen letters long because that is how I word them sometimes...I am not being profane or defaming anyone  I am simply being myself...why am I being told to use at least fifteen? I pay to use this site and have been here almost five years. Why am I being singled out? I am trying to enjoy what time I have to be on the site and now I am being told I have to use at least fifteen letters in comments...there have been many times when I have written almost a third to half a page in a single comment! I am not spamming anyone when I write a short comment...if I wrote very short to single word comments consistently and wrote nothing else I might see the point of all of this...do you want the writers who are at ease in writing shorter comments at times just as I do to use what amounts to filler, words that mean nothing to the person writing the comment much less the writer receiving said comment? If I have nothing to say about something I have read I do not leave a comment...there are times when a few short words express what I have to say...is that wrong?    I have done nothing wrong.
