The finished product

A blog can make a real nice website once you become familiar with how to set it up properly. My 3 day old website was indexed by Google in less than a day, even before it was ready to go live which it is now... albeit just barely. I got caught up in cross browser testing, many people are still using... Sign in to see full entry.

Blogging for money

Whether many of you Blogit members appreciate it or not, as you idle time on this site chit chatting and generally goofing off, much knowledge is finding its way into your brain by osmosis. Many are learning to spell (count me in there, as I have had to learn how to speak and write American... Sign in to see full entry.

The ultimate challenge - making money online

Unlike so many other people that we have all happened upon in our lives, I make no claims of knowing how to make serious money online. Simply because I have never done it. I have only made mediocre money and pocket change online, with a few small successes interspursed amongst a much larger number... Sign in to see full entry.

What is the best freebie on the internet?

If I were to cast my vote for the best free software program on the internet, I would be stuck. There are about a dozen software programs I use regularly that were free but I have to admit that these things may not be useful to everyone. So the criteria for "What is the best freebie on the... I should have done this 4 years ago

Again I am speaking of organizing my blog entries into a coherent structure, with searchable categories and indexing capabilities. The article directory script I have installed: HERE is ideal for this. The post editor is virtually identical to the one we use to create our posts here on Blogit, with... One of the things I don't like about Blogit

When most people arrive on Blogit and begin posting, it's all they can do to figure out how this interface works. I was no different in that regard, I didn't fully comprehend how it all works until I had been here awhile and did not realize some of this site's shortcomings until I had been here a... My favorite blog templates - a tutorial

If there is one thing that has come from my time on blogit that leaves me questioning my sanity... it is my obsession with web blog templates. I'm about to take a blog template to a major industrial application for large asset sales, and built upon a Wordpress back end. Of course I had to mess with... Sign in to see full entry.

Does anyone use Gimp?

If there is one area that I have been remiss in learning what I should be learning, it is in image manipulation. The time involved in the inherent learning curve was the single biggest reason (or excuse) that has stopped me up until this point from teaching myself this stuff. Instead I got into a... Has anyone tried the new Blogit selling feature?

I don't really have anything to sell in the format available for listing items here on Blogit. After following the process of listing an item for sale, I realized that it was not a file download format as I assumed but instead an article format. Where an individual interested in selling some type of... Sign in to see full entry.

Can someone explain this about Blogit?

Did I miss something? I went to my "Write" page to check new comments and noticed a new link on the page. It now looks as you see below: You have no items listed. List an item now! Start a new blog - List an item for sale - View new blog comments... when did this appear and what is it? The answers... Sign in to see full entry.
