Against the night

Clock’s hands spin round Sleep slips away The night owl seeks its prey While the clock just ticks away. Tired morning will knock At the door all too soon Still I stay up as if I could sleep till noon. The sandman has gone back for more Procrastination now guards sleeps door To stay up so long defies...
