Getting started

I started my family tree almost a year ago. It is very time consuming but interesting. I learned about family in great ways. One great grandmother raised 5 children during the Great Depression after the death of my great grandfather. The eldest 2 children were his children from his first marriage. The younger 3 were children of my great grandparents. I found some not so great things too, like owning slaves. This is my maternal side of my family. My father’s family is a total mystery. He had...
