All manner of – mostly meaningless – psychobabble is conjured up, out of thin air it seems, to ‘ prove ’ the most absurd, outrageously generalised perceptions of males: most appropriately called the “ all men are …” syndrome. It is as if all men, everywhere, are mere slaves to their brute shared biology, which renders them incapable of feeling or acting certain ways. Nice, feminine ways of course.
