I'm 74 year old, British, but living in Spain permanently. There were 8 childern in my family, but only 5 survive. I left school at 14, with no qualifications, and worked all my life in construction and engineering. I dabbled a bit with writing while we lived in England, but didn't get serious until we moved to Spain 5 years ago. I've had 50 short stories, masses of poetry and articles published in Spain and the UK.

I've been married for 35 years ... to the same woman! We've got three sons and a daughter, and four grandchildren.
