In a recent post, I remarked upon the folly, and the unacceptability of suppressing historical events for current politically correct considerations – or more accurately, ephemeral fads and fashions – which is what political correctness will undoubtedly prove ultimately to be. When the scales fall from our eyes that is, and we begin to view the world and its history through prescription lenses rather than bits of rose-tinted glass.
