It would be difficult . . .
for me to wear my old uniform today, not because it no longer fits, it does, but because of what I would be asked to defend. When I was commissioned as a Naval Officer, I swore an oath to Defend the Constitution. Well, fellow veterans, fellow citizens, take a look around; take a look at things such as the grossly misnamed "Patriot" Act, an act that presumes all to be criminal until we can prove otherwise, often without benefit of a hearing or an attorney.
