So what's with Joan of Arcadia?

They've already started showing re-runs. What a gyp! Sign in to see full entry.

Death of a Hero

Bob Keeshan, who created and played the character, Captain Kangaroo, died at the age of 76 yesterday. I remember him fondly and well from my childhood, and I thank him for his talented, caring gifts to all children. Sign in to see full entry.

What is the limit?

Big screen TVs are becoming more popular. Is the size limit of television screens approaching the size limit of the largest wall in your home? Is it really enjoyable to watch such a large picture in a disporportionally small room? I have seen some of the newer sets, rangingg in price from $4000 to... Sign in to see full entry.

TV Land Fiasco

Obviously I was not called before that network decided to have a Carol Burnett marathon. What a waste. I didn't like her show, or anything she was in, the first time around, and now they have this Carol Burnett Show marathon. Needless to say, I din't watch TV Land all weekend. Survivor "All-Star" program

The new Survivor program should be an interesting one, but I am not happy that they are going to start it after some football game (superbowl?). That means I cannot set up my recorder to record it; I am not a football fan, hate it as a matter of fact, so will be trying to figure out how to watch... Sign in to see full entry.

Angels in America

Well, just watched the final part of Angels in America (we taped it) and was very disappointed. It was more like a morality play, but even worse, a politically-motivated morality play. If you missed "Angels in America" but get the chance to watch it in the future, don't. Sign in to see full entry.

Angels in America . . . .

What a movie! It is more like a sermon or a lecture than a movie. It was hard to keep watching it, and it still has about three hours to go next Sunday. I don't know if I will continue or not. Did anyone get anything out of "Angels in America" on HBO last night? Sign in to see full entry.

Good memories and laughs!

TV Land network had a 48-hour Family Ties marathon this past weekend. I watched maybe four or five of the episodes and really enjoyed them. I enjoy watching these marathons, although I have yet to watcfh one all the way through! It does give me the chance to bring back some good memories and lots of... Sign in to see full entry.

TV Land Network

So many good shows to augment the reruns on the other channels. Even though all teir shows are reruns, they are from long ago and very entertaining. I particularly enjoy Leave It To Beaver and Bewitched. I do wish they would run some of the Dragnet series as well, and the Lone Ranger. Sign in to see full entry.
