What a tear-jerker episode

on the last Survivor program. Have to admire the organization/planning of the program tha allows random events such as this to not derail the contest. Sign in to see full entry.

Everyone is afraid and they are treading carefully . . . .

Look at what the quick view of one harmless female breast did to network executives. It turned them from strong business managers, decision makers for the networks, into cowardly, whimpering, overcautious, distrustful wimps. That is to be the downfall of network television: it is geared to the child... Sign in to see full entry.

Survivor Nudity.

Richard Hatch should get a medal. He is a pioneer in getting us Americans to see that there is nothing inherently wrong with being nude in public. What is it that makes grown adults act like pre-teens when we see a naked body, or even part of a naked body? Grow up! Being nude in public is not... Sign in to see full entry.

The Judge Shows.

Okay, I admit I watch Judge Joe Brown, and sometimes even Judge Judy, but that's the extent of it. What amazes me is the cases, which are really stupid, and usually it is easy to see who should win. With Judge Judy, that person who should win diesn't always, but, it is a TV show; what would you... Sign in to see full entry.

Those people have guts!

Just watched American Idol for the first time and it is amazing. I have no singing talent whatsoever, and I could do better than a good number of the contestants. S.W.A.T.

Watched the movie, SWAT last night, and it had scenes from the old S.W.A.T. series on television. I wish TV Land would run series like that again. It would be nice for TV Land to bring back all the old series from way back, poking those jewels among their regular fare. How many of you remember "Lock... Sign in to see full entry.

Booorriing!

We watched the Golden Globe awards last night and it was one of the most uninteresting things I have seen in a while. My wife liked it, so we watched it, as I read on the sly! Sign in to see full entry.

Local News Channels on Cable

I don't know about other areas, but the Norfolk, VA area local news channel on cable is a total waste of time. For instance, this afternoon I turned to it around 2 pm to see what the weather was going to be for the rest of the day, and their weather report was video from 7 am this morning. A lot of... Cable Television Series

I am looking forward to the restart of cable television series such as Grim Reapers, Six Feet Under and Sopranos. Those are excellent examples of some of the better offerings on television. Too bad the networks can't provide us with the same high quality programming. Sign in to see full entry.

DVD Weekend Coming Up!

Known to the rest of you bloggers as Superbowl Weekend. I hate watching football. I don't even like being around people while they watch football, even if I am not watching. They are loud, boistrous and nothing more than eating/drinking machines engossed in the grossness of TV football. I greatly... Sign in to see full entry.
