Dennis . . . .

Florida and the Gulf Coast lucked out. Why do people live where weather gets bad regularly every year? When I lived in KY, the Ohio River floded every two or three years, and the people always complained, cried, and moved back. If you really like an area, build your home to minimize the chances it will be deestroyed; sure, it will cost more, but it will still cost less than re-building every few years.
