My Companion, My Pain

I do feel better in some ways. I am thankful for that but now I'm jittery and have a headache. I don't know maybe it is unrelated. Or it could be a side effect. We'll see. Well I realized today that I really am feeling better. I have pain and a lot of it but it is only in one or two places not all over. I also have more energy. I didn't need to take a nap today. I'm sorry. I was just asked what an infusion was. I should explain things. An infusion is basically an I.V. Thats what they call it when they place a catheter and run an I.V of medication over a period of time in my case 3 hours. I go to a Infusion clinic that they have in my doctors office. About... I feel like YUCK. I had my infusion today. They loaded me up on Benadryl first and so I feel asleep for the entire three hours that it took. I unfortunately have a new development. My right let is hurting so bad I would rate it an eight on the pain scale. I have a tramedal, two vicodine and a soma in me and I 'm still not ahead of it. I am up in the middle of the night unable to sleep. I am not even tired. That is so rare I wonder if the infusions have anything to do with it. I have felt like I have more energy. Well I was doing better, but the last couple or days I have had a lot of back and leg pain. I missed support group tonight, I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to get off at 5:30 and get home, take a shower, and then get across town by 6:30. I did pretty well this weekend until this morning. I woke up in so much pain I could hardly walk to let my dogs out. I toke a tramedal that did nothing I had to resort to narcotics. Well I am hopeful. My skin is showing improvement and tuesday night I slept without pain. I still needed pain meds because there was some pain before I went to bed, but they were enough to relieve my pain completely, usually they are not.
