SNOW!!!

DADDY IN HIS SAILOR SUIT!

Here is a picture of my dad in his Navy uniform. That's his dog "Brownie" with him. This is one of the few photos that actually have a date. Well, a year anyway. DOES ANYONE KNOW?

How to preserve that little humming bird's nest. I would like to keep it. It reminds me of nightly walks with my mom. Up till now I've left it out on the patio. MOM AND OUR HUMMINGBIRD

Finding that hummingbird's nest the other day reminded me of the summer my Mom and I watched a hummingbird build her nest and raise two baby hummers in that tree. PLAYING WITH MATCHES!

WHEN DID I BECOME THE PARENT? (a repost)

When Dad had a TIA (that's a kind of a mini stroke) I came home to help out. It was kind of strange because Mom had always been the sickly one in the family. - So, slowly I took over the cooking, cleaning and making sure both parents took their pills and whatnot....Never trust a parent when they say... I FEEL BETTER

Back when my dad was sick I tried to help take care of him. Whenever he needed something he would call me. If I didn't hear, he would call my dog "Bo." ADOPTING SKIPPER!

This is how mom and dad ended up adopting our first little dog, a beautiful black Cocker Spaniel they named Skipper. - It seems that when they got home from their honeymoon they stopped by my grandparents' house.. FATHER'S DAY MEMORIES!

Happy Fathers Day Dad! Now even this year I have seen something he would have loved. It's the 'Black and Decker' self adjusting wrench.
