I think to some extent
all kids have played with matches "Fire" facinates kids for some reason.
I once caught my daughter burning school papers in our fireplace - though it was a fireplace the flue was shut and it smoked up the house horribly

It's a wonder my brother didn't burn down the house...
My brother was terrible to play with matches...
...And of all things, my parents bought that hooligan a chemistry set!! God alone must have kept him from building a thermonuclear device!!
Maybe the animals should roam free while the kids are kept in cages--LOL!

no, but I guess with the kind of things I do, I end up playing with fire
(figuratively that is) over and over again

Whacky,
I never played with matches, but I DID TRY how hot the stove was... I must have been about 2 years old, and I remember I liked to find out how hot that thing actually was, so I laid my arm against it. I had the scar for many years, and never tried that again!

No playing with fire! Even liquid lighters are combustible and dangerous items in the kitchen

Whacky
Being a former firefigher, I have images of burned homes due to playing with matches. I never played with them myself, but I caught Sam the other day with some matches. He's a very good boy; he brought them to me. I told him not to ever play with them, that they are
not a toy.

I cannot match Passion
but my brother and I were caught behind the garage trying to smoke. He was 5 and I was 7. We had got hold off some matches and had roled these humungous cigarettes out of news paper and grass. This smoking thing started early.
