Okay - we all love stories about stupid criminals - not only are they lacking in common sense, they are just dumb. Here are some I, personally, have run into as a prosecutor: 1. A woman is sentenced for a misdemeanor, with a modest fine. The judge asked if there was any legal reason to bar her sentence. The woman replied, "yeah, how am I gonna pay my fine when I live on welfare?". The judge replied, "lady, get a job". 2. A woman was being tried for terroristic threat. I had the victim on the...
