Don't Say It Unless You Mean It

Your words flow like a song from your lips to my heart, So easy they come, I'm afraid that as quick as they appear they will fade into the air. I wanna believe the utterings you claim, But they seem just like words in the light of day. So I ask that you only say what you mean, To not get carried away in the moment, To not tell me what you think I need to hear.
