Mom and I were headed to town for supplies this afternoon... At least, that was our plan. Life increasingly proves the truth of John Lennon's statement that "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans." We live in a very rural area. This trip, I'd opted to take a back road to get to the state road so I could drop some mail in the Post Office on the way, instead of driving the 8 miles to the interstate.
