It's Kentucky Dumby Week!
And they're off! I'm tempted to say "Who cares?", but I know I'm in the minority. I don't live close to Louisville, Kentucky, but I live close enough to receive WHAS, a Louisville t.v. station, and we subscribe to the Courier-Journal, a Louisville-based newspaper... Apparently, LOTS of folks care that it's Kentucky Derby time. I canNOT figure out why. What is so fascinating about a horse race? Is it just an excuse to party? And for the better part of two weeks?
