I don't fit in

Most places I go I don't fit in. I don't feel bad just different. I don't gay bash. I don't watch 'COPS'. I don't talk ghetto or complain very much. I don't wear prada or drink a latte. I don't drink to get drunk or smoke to get high. I don't stay out all night chase anyone's tail I love my family I... Sign in to see full entry.

Pandora's Heart Shaped Box

What is it about me that makes some people want to tell me everything? What is it that makes them think I'd make a good doormat? Why is it that being nice and being willing to be taken advantage of are synonymous? Why is it that I'm everyone's best friend regardless of how I feel about them? Why... Sign in to see full entry.

Spirituality

If my spirituality were a garment I could wear it would be a white cotton sweater; heavy, reassuring and soft without blemish. This is a poem I wrote about my relationship with my oldest child. She's 7.

My Love (Mia) Looking at you I feel a wave of fear, inadequacy, an incompetence that terrifies me. Behind this wall of seething emotion I know there is love. Hidden from me by my own doubts, it still exists. So in the dark tonight, I pray that you feel it. I'm desperate to know you aren't drowning... Sign in to see full entry.

As I lie here beside you in the dark, Words swirl inside me like embers released from a roaring fire. I feel like my bones were never there and a bowl of warm honey balances where my stomach used to be. I want to tell you how you touch me and how much of me you've found that no one has ever had...
