Cartoon Afternoon

There are sparrows on my porch railing, dancing, flitting birds. My cats sit in the window, as I type out my words. I see the sunshine streaming and the sky is clear and bright, Before I know it this day's gone and rolled away by night. Sign in to see full entry.

My friend's dad died today, after a long cancer battle. I'm so sad for her.

My Wish Folded in your arms, I fell asleep, Too tired to stay up any longer. Folded in our home, I feel safety, Never has a fortress been stronger. Folded in our blessings, And in keeping with our love, There is no fear to weigh my heart, Now push has come to shove. Folded in magic, our children's... Sign in to see full entry.

Okay, I'm feeling more constipated than creative, but here we go...

Youth Today on the wind I heard voices drifting across my conciousness lifting me away... It lightened my spirit and liberated the beating of my heart. As I attempted to follow the whispering words fell solemnly about my feet, where my children picked them like blossoms and blooms of my youth. Sign in to see full entry.

This is it, folks, and I am writing a new one right now...good timing!!

Remain Ice blue sky hovers above. Sunlight shines down, Laying flecks of gold On the bark of a tree. Forest dwindles off To make way for a pond. Leaves at the bottom, Deep, dark, nourishing brown. Sharp, slate-colored stones Crop the edge of the field, Seemingly alive with their Absence of color. My... Sign in to see full entry.

The third of my night poems....also about rebirth.

The Birth Of Night Night- Pushing its way into the world- Squeezing the very last light out of a fighting day. The night Cradling me like a lover, Just like heaven Cradles the moon. Blankets around me, Shivering like a child, Alone in this Night. Sign in to see full entry.

More of my night time meanderings...can you tell I'm an ex-insomniac?

In The Night Stars in the sky, Moon wreathed in clouds, No sound outside but the traffic, And an occasional leaf in the wind, I sit staring out the window. Stealthy in the moonlight, Cool air blowing across my bare skin, Contemplating the night, Nights in general, This night in my life, Life in... Sign in to see full entry.

Before the kids came onto the scene, I was a nightowl.

Night Soft. Cotton-tipped. Golden trail Down the sweet curve On the back of your neck. Dance My tongue down your spine, My fingers down your sides, My nipples down your stomach, My lips along your jaw and Across the hollow of your throat. I love to watch you unwind, Putting you to sleep with a sweet... Sign in to see full entry.

I wrote this soooo long ago.In Junior High, at 13? 14? Ah, innocence.

It's asstounding to me that I didn't get picked on more than I did in school. Not only was I a geek, but I was so OLD for my age. Sheesh. Untitled The love that burns Within my heart Has burned your hand Set us apart. The dawn is clear Through shattered glass. The dew still stands On brown, dead... Sign in to see full entry.

This happens to me a lot. I wish I could remember....

Damn Sweet Sticky, sweaty, wet, Deep, with a strong beat, Slow, soft, sensual. Dreams I can’t quite remember, Intense sensations as soon as I wake. I can’t remember, But I feel strange. My body filled with Sleep and liquid fire, Confused and aroused, Too awake to go back to sleep. Damn, what a day... Sign in to see full entry.

Secret Thin, stardust girl, Tired like moss, Awakened and sleepless At the edge of dawn. Creep, on your belly, creep, Seek the night again. Flutter like a flowers’ dust, Down to your bed and Amazing transformation into daylight Reality. Awaken to life. Being on the crust of the planet, Journeyer no... Sign in to see full entry.
