Blaming the other guy for your own problems

One of the reasons I took the approach I did earlier, when I talked about the "trigger" incident which led my former partner to call me deranged, is that it is easy for domestic abusers to blame others for their problems. The name of the post is derived from a Francis Schaeffer book, and intended to rebut something I'd seen on the Internet.
