The thought before the Action prt 1
Karl looked around himself, still hoping it was all a dream and he’d wake from it soon. Somebody pinch me, shake me, hell sock me in the eye if you have to. Of course it wasn’t a dream and he knew it. Karl wouldn’t be wafted away back into “the real world”, or rescued, or saved by God. He’d made all the wrong choices in life and those choices had landed him behind bars. Taking a moment away from his thoughts of dread, he took another look around his cell.
