It's 40 years today since the internet was born as "Arpanet", an experimental military network. Here are some milestones, gleaned from an article in today's "Times of India." 1972: Ray Tomlinson brings email to the network. 1974: TCP developed by Vint Cerf and Bob Kahn, beginning a "true" internet...
