Former Sen. George McGovern dead at 90

SIOUX FALLS, S.D., Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Former South Dakota senator and one-time Democratic presidential hopeful George McGovern died Sunday in a South Dakota hospice. He was 90. Cuban media releases Castro statement

Zimmerman trial to last 3 weeks

Former U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter dies

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 14 (UPI) -- Arlen Specter, who served five consecutive terms in the U.S. Senate, died Sunday at his home in Philadelphia. He was 82.
