Yes, I'm still here! Last night, I joined 70 other women at a United Jewish Federation Women's Philanthropy Capital Campaign kickoff event. We usually invite persuasive, poignant speakers, but this year was exceptional. Ruth Gruber, aged one hundred (born in 1911), was the youngest woman to earn a PhD at the age of 20 in Cologne, Germany.
