Bumped into Joe Lieberman at the Liquor Store Today
It's official. Our long-lasting Connecticut Senator, Joe Lieberman - he of the besmirched Gore/Lieberman 2000 ticket - will not run for a 5th term. I'm not here to quote chapter and verse about his political record. Suffice it to say, he was known as a Republican's Democrat before he went rogue and Independent; the only Democrat at the time to call for Clinton's impeachment.
