There's an interesting article in tomorrow's New York Times Magazine (which I get on Saturdays), written by Russell Shorto, about Job Cohen (a Jew) who reaches out to Muslims, running for Dutch Prime Minister. Most of the piece is about the pros and cons of his platform - too conservative for some, too liberal for others....same old, same old in politics.
