Newspaper Keeps Weeds Away
I can't wait to try this tip, provided I can still get around enough to garden! Start putting in your plants, and work the nutrients into your soil. Place newspapers in layers around the plants, overlapping as you go. Wet them down thoroughly. Cover with mulch and forget about weeds. Weeds will get through some gardening plastic but they will not get through wet newspapers. (I think the key is to keep the newspapers wet!)
