Some news, and a funny story...

Goodness, is it cold in my apartment. Its at times at these that I wish I had more control over my heat. This morning the temperature was in the 40s. More news on the CS front: I returned his call this morning. Then, two hours later, he called me back. I don't know; maybe things have changed. Maybe he's ready for a commitment. Then again, maybe some men never change and he's ready for Round Two. I found out today that the guy I have a crush on at work (not the guy who had me help with the... Sign in to see full entry.

Argh

So on Friday night, randomly, I sent CS an IM: "Hey, maybe we should talk sometime, hope everything is going well!" Not long afterwards, CS called; I didn't pick up. I have yet to check to see if he left a message. I don't know if I really do want to get involved with him again, seeing as how things ended the last time. Should I respond to his call? I mean, I wasn't asking you out on a date." I said, "yeah, I knew what you meant." It turns out that he wanted me to... Sign in to see full entry.

Bruce Springsteen

On Thursday night I went to see Bruce Springsteen--absolutely amazing concert. Previously, my dad and I went to early dinner at an Italian place on West 44th street, and walked down to Madison Square Garden from there. Yes, it was 10 blocks, but my dad didn't want to take the subway (something about not knowing how to use the system, despite the fact that its ridiculously easy and also he lived in New York for two years back in the '70s; the subway system hasn't changed that much in 30 years).... Work stuff

So, busy-ness at work; I was introduced to a software my company (love how I'm calling it "my company" now) uses to track donations/ maintain their mailing list. I spent the afternoon doing some data entry for the data entry clerk. It was pretty repetitive, but I was glad to have something better to do. Actually having something to do keeps my mind of CS, which is good for me. I like having work to distract me. I like spending my lunch breaks people-watching. I especially like seeing what people...
