I made it

Well after so long on this earth I have finally made it to forty years old. Today, Saturday, I celebrate my birthday in a way that all parents should. The hurt should have stopped by now

A problem for a writer

Can paranoia cause insomnia?

How long does the average human being need to sleep at night to function at 100%? Is it possible to be fully alert with only an hour or two napping in a chair? My son and the law

My son, the one who took my car, has finally had to answer bail. He was charged with driving with no licence, no insurance, aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving. Yet more gross incompetence

The incompetence of people in office in this country gets worse by the day. Having sent off not one but two sets of forms for travel costs and school meals today I am informed that the place where I sent them has managed to lose both sets, leading to me needing to find £60 for three weeks school... Return of the car

Finally I received my car back from the repairers and I am really pleased with the way it looks and handles. The company that did the work did a fantastic job.
