Patsy Ramsey

Patsy Ramsey was perhaps best known as the mother of JonBenet Ramsey, the six-year-old beauty queen who was murdered several years ago. Bruno Kirby

Mike Douglas

I just heard that former talk-show host Mike Douglas died, at age 81. The news report I just heard did not specify a cause of death. Wendy Wasserstein

I was surprised that I'd missed her death, as it occurred before I was hospitalized in February for bacterial meningitis.
