Tuesday catch-up
All day yesterday I almost sat down here to write, but things went on as things will and do, and it didn't happen. We have disassembled most of the holiday decor... all but the trees and their lights have been tucked away in boxes and shoved onto the top shelf of a closet that is rarely opened. The village and snow are removed, the soft denizens of the town piled into a basket that used to hold the food goodies, beside the fireplace.
