Then the two adult guests, found comfortable places and went to sleep for over an hour! Well I learned a lesson - buffet style... Sign in to see full entry.

She was unassuming and self effacing. She cared for others and never asked for any thing special. She was 5 years my senior. I... Sign in to see full entry.

Screaming reporting

Suddenly there is a quietness in Iraq. The USA and allies are doing better. GREAT! The press is quieter too. Have you noticed? Ther are no stories of good events, or comments about better conditions for soldiers and civilians. A few weeks ago the press was jumping up and down about disastrous... Sign in to see full entry.

The Camera records pictures

Words conger up the feelings, the story and the outcome. Imagination and creativity pushes the keyboard and hearts and eyes read and respond. It is truly nice to be a writer. Lou Sign in to see full entry.

History Lesson from a Nearby Mining Town

We live on Historic Route 66. Do you remember the Route 66? The road stretched from Chicago Ill to Santa Monica CA - It was the gateway West. It is also known as the Mother Road. There are still interesting and lively happenings on this route. We try to take it all in. A stone's throw from out house... Sign in to see full entry.
