What is your definition of War, of Peace?

It is too easy to say, There must not be war, or There must be peace. Is 'war' necessarily bloody physical conflict, or is it also oppression without the foot-soldiers walking steadfastly into enemy fire? Is it the quiet violence of a police state? Is it the lies a government tells its own people to stay in power and further its own agenda? Can it be any kind of opposing of perceived injustice? What is 'peace'?
