I AM THANKFUL...................... The call finally came this morning

about 6:30 a.m. My nephew, who is incarcerated in Forrest City, AR, hurt himself a year ago this July and has finally had his back surgery. Why do we take our health for granted?

My co-worker suffered a stroke last Friday morning. One day she was with us and the next she was in the hospital. If she were an older woman, maybe it would not have been such a shock. Are humans like cats?.........some are sweet and lovable and some are.....

just "plain mean"? I have been feeding the stray cats because I don't have the heart to let them go hungry. I know, I'm asking for trouble. And the flood came........................to this north Texas town.

The lightning and rain and wind began in the very early hours this past Monday morning. I just thought it was a typical storm with flooding in the low spots of our town.
