Mom bought Karo syrup when I was young, dunno what for. I boiled it

quickly and secretly to make taffy as Granny had taught us, but ended up just eating it by the huge spoonful after boiling it for awhile. I was a sugar freak as a child. I wandered for hours and hours after other little kids went home, knocking on just one more door, Trick or Treat, until the whole pillow case was full to the top and impossible for me to carry any further.I was sure that GOD made Halloween just for me.
