I believe that America needs to go sit in the corner and think awhile.
Reading books on ethics and morality and goodness and charity and empathy would be required while seated in that corner. Then, everyone should spend some time volunteering for community service and we could fix America here at home fairly quickly. Street builders could build streets and bridge...
