Hmm... a little about myself, huh?

Well... that's not much to tell... My name is Tara Thames and I'm 20-something-female-poet-in-the-raw. A native of California I am but, not quite jaded by what the state has to offer an artist as far as inspiration goes. I don't travel much physically but my mind takes me places my feet will never travel and I think that's all the better. An imagination is a terrible thing to waste and inspiration can be found in all things if you know how to look.

I've recently found my muse and with her, I am able to write numerous poems on the subject of love and life in general and for that, I am very thankful. I usually have a difficult time expressing myself with the spoken word so I find it much easier to write everything down and recite it later. I like to think my writing expresses feelings and emotions that everyone has had at one point in their life... maybe from a slightly skewed vantage point because it comes from my head but, I'm sure you get the point for which I'm shooting.

Other than that, I'm just another human being who can't help but write down whatever pops into their head. I love writing and reading what other writers have been blessed to put down on paper... or typed on their blog... you know what I mean. I hope you enjoy the poems I've posted so far as well as the other poems I have YET to post.
