- Go to Alzheimer's Care, Eeeiii!
A cruel thing to have happened to someone. I admire your patience and caring you are giving her. I believe she will appreciate the treat. I will have y'all in my prayers, too.

It is very sad and hard on the people who love them. Watching a person fight to remember is frustrating for them and even worse for those witnessing it. I pray they find a better treatment option for the care of alzheimers and dementia. 🙏

Being from a family that has had problems with Alzheimers, I wonder how much longer before it will vanquish me. "I fight, fight, fight, fight it with all of my might" ..... "but something's gotta give, something's gotta give, something's gotta give."

Kudos to those who care for someone battling Alzheimer's. Sometimes, the disease is a slow burn. Other times, there is a major change in health over night.

Your kindness and caring will be remembered by those who are getting a brief respite from such watchfulness.

Good Morning
Thanks for sharing this post. I had to smile when I read that Sheryl loves sweets. I think you and your husband are so kind to get her what she likes. I wish you many blessings during these days that you are her caregiver. Thankfully Sheryl is very familiar with you. I hope your daughter and her family enjoy their time away. I know your daughter can really use a break. I hope you have a nice day.
