I was lucky. Growing up on the farm, I worked with my father and grandfather... both of whom were master storytellers. I learned from the best. Sometimes, you want the reader to look to the left so you can be doing something to the right. A lot like a magician, you need to put everything out there, then distract the viewers so you can work other things in.
This story plays games with the reader, but never "lies." You might not be told the truth, but ya never lie. I've got about 40,000 post-edited words in this story so far, and now, home plate is almost in sight. In the next two or three episodes, I need to plant the seeds of the ending so that when I am done, you will remember I told you something... I just didn't wrap the words in flashing neon lights.

BigV....I not only "Observe First" ... actually, it is all I do.  I used to go to real old graveyards and look for long-time-gone relatives.
