It's unfortunate he waited to contact your dad. No real excuse fir me as well. But, you make a good point about his transition. He was probably wrapped up in family and relieved to sleep comfortably. The good part is he was good on his word through the message. We never know what someone is going through so it was good on your dad to not get upset.

Your dad is a real gem. William owes him a thank you from the bottom of his heart for his generosity. Hopefully, William will see this in time.
