Re: Graysome
Thanks for stopping by. I had left my hometown, population ~620 people, in 1971. After my father died in 1994, my visits 'home' were farther and father apart. The last time I was back in my hometown was a year ago, it still had about 640 people, but it had completely changed. Kinda reminds me of that old story, 'You Can't Go Home Again," written in 1940 by Thomas Wolfe... Once you get 'out and about,' home never looks as good as it used to look.

I wonder if I went back to the farm where I grew up and the towns we used to shop in, what would be as I remembered and how much has changed. I do know some people i grew up with are still living there!

Re: CCT
I've had a few weird dreams myself... a couple of which have used as the background of a few stories!

Some things folk remember does get distorted after living with the practical experiences of old age. Some things stick I remember pouring black lead from a tin over my head whilst sitting in a pram. It was used on grates as a polish.
