And that is the best possible way to write. Someone told me many years ago, not to be precious about my writing. Embrace all criticism, and thank the critic. You may not agree with them all, but your story will thank you is you see it as help and include it if is is good!

Thank you, my friend. I hadn't planned on posting this story here... or anywhere... until it was published. I've got a tentative offer for it, dependent on the turn the story is about to make. If they like what I had outlined for them, I'll get paid a few hundred bucks upfront plus a healthy 65% of all sales. THAT is special considering all the books that are coming out. I've submitted several stories, and they like most of them... and I am excited.
I write because as my tagline in my email says, Writing is the only thing that I don't feel I should be doing anything else when I do it.
I probably won't be here on a steady basis, but I will start posting chapters of various stories no one else has seen here. I always give a shoutout to the residents of this site at the end of the story. Anytime you see an issue, point it out... and I'll fix it.
Some of the chapter of this story are very long... like 3200+ words... and I know most of you don't like college type dissertation paper lengths, so I will try to keep each post to ~1500 words where possible.
I'm always open to criticism of my writing, encase it makes me look at something that caught the eye of a reader.

I really enjoyed reading what you had written last night, and had to read all the way through to the end of 6.I have started writing again myself, but nothing worth putting into a book. Practising is all.
