Crows are still one of the most talked about birds. Natures clean up crew. A very clever post.

C.C......
Not far from here is a small lake with a walk-out dock and around the edges of the lake are cattails. There are always a lot of red-wing blackbirds there but I've never seen any kind of other birds. That always puzzles me, but it is fun to see.

Re: Sam
Cheers Sam, I'll look one out for you, I think you could probably do a sweet little splash around as one of the ducks.🌺

Re: Sherri
They sit and watch as the magpies and pigeons scoff the suet balls. Perhaps they remember. Although once I saw an oldish woman skinning squirrels for a rather old fashioned family.

Re: Good evening
No, one would not enjoy rook pie if they realized. 😊

Good evening
This is so true. It is sad but also truthful. I hope you have a good night. Tomorrow will be almost 90. I'm not looking forward to it. Â

Sad, but true. I enjoy the random gifts that my visiting crows bring me. I believe it is their thank you to me for showing them kindness over the years.

So true on nothing has immunity. Nice work using personification. It's one of my poem favorites. I don't write it a whole lot but it's fun to read.Â
