Good afternoon

I really and truly believe that we should accept people just as they are.  No judgments whatsoever.  I hope you have a good day.  It's a nice day in the city.

When I was working, I had an office assistant who was a senior with Down Syndrome.  It was her 5th period class time that she came to my office. She was always on time, did her assigned work with a smile on her face and had her own way of doing things. She was a funny, funny kid. She loved practical jokes. If she didn't have the Down Syndrome look you would never know she was dealing with a disability. It is so important to look past an obvious disability to see the real person. They are not their disability, it's just an obstacle they have to overcome. People who don't have obstacles seem to be the most judgemental in my opinion. It's important to get to know people because the Lord has blessed everyone with a special gift. It's up to us to realize our gift and use it to glorify Him!
