I love Honey toast, as well as cinnamon toast.

What a delightful story. Crazy how we find a way to solve a dilemma when we put our mind to it. How wonderful to awaken to the aroma of toast! Kudis to your Hubby!

I love hot buttered toast. I don't believe I have ever tried it with cinnamon sugar, but my hubby and his five siblings grew up on it. Thank goodness your hubby is so handy. The only thing that gets stuck in my 15-year-old toaster is flattened burrito wraps. And that only happens if I don't use big enough tortillas that allow me to grab them when they pop up. Now I am craving toast. 🍞

Good Morning
Sea Gypsy, I loved this post. I wonder what happened to the original toast. I wonder why it wouldn't come out. I love toast, and when my grandkids stayed over, I would always make it for them. Their Mom and Aunt always tried to make it the way I did, but they couldn't. I'm not even sure what I did, but I think I put more butter on it. I told everyone that I always put a little dash of love on my toast. The kids loved it when I would say that. I hope you have a good day, and I'm so glad you got your toaster back.

Toast in My Day....
You could still get really good sour dough bread when my boys were young and active. Any time anyone put a slice of that in our pop-up the smell from the kitchen would draw them in from the back yard.
