Yes , I must admit I have been caught at times by a smile meant for another. The older one becomes the more smiles seem to be forth coming. Glad it amused you.ππ

I absolutely love this poem. I, too, have noticed those things about smiles. Fake one, real ones, happy ones, deceptive ones. Yep. This is one of my favorites of yours. And the ending tops it off, though I imagine you were smiling when you wrote it. I smile.

What a superb twist in the ending! I loved it. I kept thinking while I was reading this awesome poem that I will not look at smiles in the same way again. Who would have thought that such fun could come from a smile! Great work!Β
